This is going to be a blog where I talk about beauty, fashion, music and other things like that. I really love make up and beauty products; shopping for new gems is one of my favourite pastimes and nothing beats a good haul post. As well as that, I love clothes and trying out different styles, which is why this blog is going to be a bit of everything! I'd also like to touch upon more serious topics, as I am quite an opinionated person and I like to get my point across. I'm not a stranger to blogging- I do have a previous blog that I decided wasn't going anywhere, so I made this one as a complete do-over.
You may be wondering about the name, why English Love Affair? Well, after seeing a little bit more of England (which is where I live) this year, I've fallen in love with it. Where I live isn't really a nice area, so I never really saw how nice England could be. However, recently I've been able to appreciate what's around me a little more and I will admit there is nothing I enjoy more than a scenic drive with the windows open and music blaring. Another (completely different) meaning to the title is that it's the name of one of my favourite songs at the moment: English Love Affair by 5 Seconds of Summer.
I've decided I'm going to start out posting every Sunday, and I'll no doubt increase posts throughout the week when I get (back) into the swing of blogging. I feel like I need to say now that the majority of photography in my posts probably won't be much good for a little while, as at the moment I'm waiting to buy a new camera, and the one I have really isn't up to scratch. I am lucky enough to be able to use a Nikon D3100 from college, but it isn't on a regular basis so my phone may have to do.
