Beauty Wishlist #2 || Cruelty Free

Hello! It feels like forever since I wrote a wish list post, and if you're familiar with my blog you'll know I love them, so I thought I'd bring back the Beauty Wishlist series I started in 2015. I did actually say on that post that I wouldn't make another until I had either bought or changed my mind about all the things on there, and I think I finally have! In addition to that, things are changing in my make up bag/skin care routine so I think it's about time for another one of these.

Hello! It's been a while since I attempted a favourites post, but I have a few things this month that I really want to talk about and share with you, so I thought I'd give it another try. REVIEW: 13 Reasons Why Series vs. Book

If you haven't been living under a rock recently, then there's every chance you've heard of 13 Reasons Why. It originated as a book, but Netflix recently released a series based on the story and it's gained quite a lot of popularity for both good and bad reasons. I don't want to go into all the ins and outs of why it is good or bad, because I really would be here all day. I've seen so much controversy and so many mixed opinions on the representation and the visual detail the show goes into that my head is spinning just thinking about it all. After watching the series, I decided to read the book so I could form a more informed opinion on it as a whole, but we'll get to that in a minute. Obviously this post will have some spoilers from both the series and the book, but I will try and keep it as spoiler free as possible for those who haven't read or seen it but are interested. It's going to be a long one, so get comfy!

Life Update!

Hey! Considering I've been gone from this blog for a little while, I thought it might be nice for me to write a little bit of an update post to let you know where I'm at in life right now. A lot has been going on and changing with me recently, so I thought I may as well share.

I don't know about anyone else but April has come round exceptionally quickly for me; we're already mid Spring and Summer is creeping closer and closer. I've fully embraced the tiny bit of sunshine we've had in my corner of England and Summer Molly is in full swing, complete with slightly out there make up and funky tops that get me funny looks in the street. Usually I'd have been so nervous to go out in a top like this one, but I absolutely loved it and felt so confident, which is completely unlike me.
