The Problem With Pinterest

You could say that I'm fairly new to Pinterest. I've had my account for a while, but I've only been properly using it for the past few months. I was originally introduced to Pinterest by my friend Yasmin (you can see her pinterest here or her new blog here - it's great if you're into fashion!) and at first I didn't quite get it. I thought it seemed like a fun website to use but I didn't think it was something I would find myself loving. Oh how wrong I was!

Beauty Wishlist #1

If you're familiar with my blog, you'll know that I love a good wish list. With that in mind, and my first payday on the horizon, I decided it would only be right to start a little series of sorts. Basically, my plan is that I won't make another (beauty) wish list until I have either bought or changed my mind about everything on the previous one. I'm hoping it will a) save me lusting after 900 things at once and b) stop me from bombarding you with more wish list posts than you know what to do with!

February Favourites

Hi Everyone! February has been and gone, and you know what that means - Favourites time! I've never actually done one of these posts on this blog even though I've thought about it many times, so I thought I might as well start in the new year. I've got quite a variation of things to talk about so I'd better get cracking.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation

I can honestly say that I've never really been in love with Rimmel products. Sure, there's been one or two things I've loved, but the vast majority of things I have tried have quickly been shoved to the back of my make up collection. So when this foundation was recommended to me by a friend (because the palest shade is lighter than most foundations which is what I need) I was quite skeptical. I had also read that it only provided a light coverage which isn't usually something I'd go for but nevertheless I decided to give it a whirl and I am so glad I did.

Mini Yankee Candle Haul

Recently I've become a bit of a candle fiend. Yes, I am aware fiend is a bit of a strange word to use when talking about candles, but it's the only way I can think to describe my new found obsession. I was never really interested in candles; my mum burned them sometimes and they were pretty but that was all I thought. Then, about a year ago, I bought a strawberry cheesecake flavoured candle in a cute jar from Primark. I absolutely LOVED it, but I never really bought many more. I always knew I wanted to get some Yankee Candles though, but I didn't end up purchasing any until very recently, so to mark the occasion I thought I'd let you know which ones I've bought! Also, in advance, I apologise if these photos aren't quite in focus as I've been trying to master manual focus recently!

The Music Tag

Hello! I've been reading a few new blogs in the past few days, and on my travels I stumbled across the music tag. I've always loved music, and I realised it isn't something I've introduced to my blog just yet, so I might as well start now! I actually found a few different variations of this whilst looking around, so I've mixed them together a little bit to create my own version.

My Everyday Make Up

This is a post I've wanted to do for a while! I tend to use the same products day after day for weeks on end, occasionally changing it up a bit by swapping other bits into my collection but for now I feel like I've found the perfect little routine. I hope you enjoy having a nosey into what I use everyday, as these are some of my favourite posts to read on other blogs!
